About the role

Vinova are working with Mint Renewables, a leading renewable energy developer, to appoint a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor. They are building a significant national pipeline of generation and storage assets and continue to invest in the Community and Stakeholder Engagement professionals and expertise across the business.

Reporting to the Head of Planning, Environment and Stakeholder Relations, you will own and deliver stakeholder and community engagement strategies across development, delivery and operational assets. You will embed engagement into core project workstreams, manage complex risks and ensure benefit sharing approaches are practical, credible and aligned to project objectives.

The role is Melbourne based with regular office collaboration and travel to regional and remote project locations across Australia.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and execute stakeholder and community engagement plans across multiple high value projects
    • Lead community information sessions, neighbour meetings, council briefings and political engagement
    • Manage enquiries and complaints with confidence and clarity to protect project momentum
    • Design and implement meaningful benefit sharing programs that deliver tangible local outcomes
    • Maintain strong reporting, stakeholder records and clear internal communication across teams

Who are we looking for?

  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement within renewable energy or major infrastructure
    • Proven ability to prepare and implement community engagement strategies
    • Experience engaging regional communities and navigating rural project dynamics
    • Exposure to media engagement including drafting press releases and public materials
    • Understanding of government processes and expectations around engagement and benefit sharing
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting in forums
    • Valid driver licence and willingness to travel to regional and remote locations
